“If we want the rewards of being loved, we have to submit to the mortifying ordeal of being known.” - just one of many wonderful sentences from Tim Kreider’s New York Times Essay “I Know What You Think of Me.” https://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/06/15/i-know-what-you-think-of-me/

This one of a kind embroidered art measures 8” across, was hand drawn and embroidered on linen stretched over a wooden embroidery hoop. It comes ready to hang, wrapped in brown paper, tied up with string. My hope is that it will become one of your favorite things.
