This Year

I forget about this song. The Mountain Goats have A LOT of songs and this isn’t the first one I think of when I think of them. I was listening to an episode of All Songs Considered and it was called “Songs that got me through school” and this was a listeners choice. It reminded me that this song is wonderful and probably should be the first Mountains Goats song I think of. Because *I* am going to make it through this year if it kills me.

This one of a kind Mountain Goats inspired embroidered art measures 6” across, was hand lettered and embroidered on gold metallic linen stretched over a wooden embroidery hoop painted black. It comes ready to hang, wrapped in brown paper, tied up with string. My hope is that it will become one of your favorite things.

This hoop took approximately an hour to stitch.
